December 18, 2009 - TOPSPIN TOPIC

Undoubtedly, tennis stars are one of the most bankable among athletes in terms of product endorsements. This sport and its players consist a wide array of personalities and nationalities that can only provide color in media coverage. Proof? Check out the following commercials:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8npP1CwO3o - Rafael Nadal shows off his intensity which was even more accentuated with fireballs. This is for SPORTMAN PRO

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=au17YpGAa-s - Maria Sharapova feels pretty. Well, no one can argue with that. A little snotty, but it solidifies her place as the premier it-girl of tennis. NIKE agrees.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_sdHjBf_H8 - This is definitely over-the-top. But if there's one thing we learned about Novak Djokovic's antics, it's that he doesn't hold back when he is on the limelight. Funny, but serious business for HEAD.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mulAi7cno2Y - A less serious side of Roger Federer is absolutely entertaining. This video had it all- full of action, a bit funny, and even a bit creepy. NIKE seems to be in the "Roger is the GOAT" bandwagon.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UfGpt-0ncc - Roddick VS Pong - definitely a classic! And on some levels, even depicts Roddick's real-life struggles on the tour. AMERICAN EXPRESS teaches him a lesson.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3QiBfB4TCI - There aint stopping the controversial Serena Williams. But props to "Mother Nature." I can imagine people actually rooting for her! This is for TAMPAX.

Hence, the TOPSPIN TOPIC of the week:

Which commercial featuring a tennis player is the best?
	Sportman Pro with RAFAEL NADAL
	Tampax with SERENA WILLIAMS
	Head with NOVAK DJOKOVIC
	Nike with MARIA SHARAPOVA
	Nike with ROGER FEDERER
	American Express with ANDY RODDICK
